“I was so impressed by last year's Belonging at Work Summit. Not only was the content relevant, eye-opening, and engaging, the format which allowed for both on-demand viewing as well as live opportunities to engage and the thorough and thoughtful communication around the event really elevated the experience and made the Belonging at Work Summit stand out among other conferences I have attended. I can't wait for this year's summit! Thank you!”

WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT
Building belonging at work begins with making work accessible. In that spirit, all of the Summit talks have closed captions. The video speed can be slowed down or sped up, if that helps with comprehension. We are also adding written descriptions to all Facebook images in the Facebook group and using alt-text tags on webpages images for those folks who use screen readers. Finally, transcripts are available for purchase in the Leader and Champion extended access packages, but if a transcript is needed for accessibility reasons, just let us know by replying to your confirmation email after you register.
"This was a transformative experience and one that I am extremely grateful to have attended. I look forward to next year and to learning from the people I was able to connect with in the meantime."

MEET THE HOST
RHODES PERRY
Thanks for joining the Belonging at Work Summit! I created this event because I envision a world where everyone on the job enjoys authentic connections with their colleagues, feels seen for who they are, gets the support they need to do their best work, and feels pride and purpose on the job - in other words, they feel an emotional outcome of belonging, and I want to help leaders like you build it at work.
I love helping leaders, visionaries, and change agents build more psychological safety, more trust, and more belonging at work for those of us who are most likely to endure the sting of social exclusion - most likely to feel invisible, discouraged, disconnected, and invisible on the job. Tragically, even in the powerful #BelongingMovement we are building together, I encounter leaders on the verge of giving up on their DEI commitments.
That's why I spent the past two decades working in-and-with many organizations researching, testing, and changing promising practices that lead to more employees feeling a sense of belonging at work. What I have learned along the way is now enshrined in my best-selling books, Belonging at Work and Imagine Belonging.
This Summit brings together what I've discovered during my 20-year journey in the diversity, equity and inclusion field and in social justice movements. The best part, all that I pour into the Summit is complemented with powerful ideas, insights, and strategies offered by fellow DEI and social justice thought leaders from around the country.
I’m excited to join you on this enormous learning journey. Together let's grow our #BelongingMovement!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are a few answers to your most common questions
1. HOW IT WORKS FAQs
i. Is this REALLY free?
YES! As long as you register prior to February 12th, you'll have free access to all of our incredible Summit talks.
ii. How do I access the Summit?
Each morning, from February 12-16, 2024, you'll receive an email with a link to that day's Summit talks. There are 3 talks per day, and they are available for you to watch and re-watch for 24 hours. For each new day of the Summit, you'll receive a new email with a new access link to watch that day's talks. You'll also receive a free workbook each day of the Summit to help you process all of your feelings and bring the learning into your own life & workplace.
2. WHO IS THIS FOR FAQs
i. Is this for me?
If you're a leader of any kind, whether formally or not, this Summit was created with you in mind. This is for CEOs, Executive Teams, DEI Practitioners, Human Resources Directors, Employee Resource Group Members, Managers & Supervisors, and anyone else looking to imagine and then build belonging at work.
ii. Should I attend if my leadership team is resistant to change?
Absolutely. Not only will you learn from a wide range of experts on ways to inspire change on your team, but you'll also find a community of like-minded professionals who are asking big questions about how to influence and usher in positive, transformative change. Whether you have the entire organization supporting you or you're on your own, you'll find something that fits your unique circumstances at this event.
3. EXTENDED ACCESS FAQs
i. What if I won't have time to see all the talks?
Great news! That's why we also have an option to invest in extended access to the Summit. While it is free to attend live from Feb 12-16, 2024, you can also choose from a variety of extended access options that mean not only more time with all of the talks but some awesome bonuses, too! There's even group access available if you'd like your entire team to move through the material together, which is great for Executive Teams, DEI Councils, and ERG Networks.
ii. If I buy an extended access pass, will the talks be immediately available?
No. The Summit materials will be made available the day after the Summit is over on Saturday, February 17, 2024. This ensures those of us attending the Summit have a shared experience with dedicated discussions during each day's session.
4. FACEBOOK GROUP FAQs
i. I don't have a Facebook account. How can I connect with others at the Summit?
We recommend creating a temporary Facebook profile so that you can participate in the group during the Summit. We'll be having live discussions, sharing resources, and even interacting with some of the speakers. It's the community element of the Summit and we highly encourage you to join us, even if it's just for the week of the Summit.
ii. Will anyone see what I share in the Facebook group?
Our Facebook group is private, which means only members can see what's posted. That said, your colleagues and leadership team may be in the Facebook group. If you're looking for more intimate community where you can find support around tough issues and big questions, you may want to invest in an extended access pass which comes with access to the Belonging Membership Community.
